OPERATION FEED THE HUNGRY

To ALL OUR FRIENDS AND WELL WISHERS

It is that time of year again when we call upon you to join us in addressing one of the challenges of our time – the challenge of HUNGER.

As we speak,many persons go to sleep every night in an empty stomach, some eat once a day due to the fact that they scrape to eat. Some can’t even find food to eat for more than 2 days in a week.

Believing in the maxim that says “people can make a difference by doing little things for other people,”the DR. JERRY OGUZIE FOUNDATION AND TRUST – JOFAT - is concluding her campaigns for 2014 by organizing the "OPERATION FEED THE HUNGRY" programme.

This campaign is meant to provide some measures of RICE – one of our staple foods - and some seasonings for those identified as unable to find food and thus are hungry which hopefully would take them for at least 5 servings.

The campaign is not meant to solve the problem of hunger in the land but to ameliorate it for a little while for those who would benefit from it.

The activity would take place as follows:

Date:                     20^th December 2014
Location:                Jikwoyi – AMAC FCT
Venue:                   Assembly Hall ofGovernment Secondary School Jikwoyi
Time:                     1 – 4pm
Target to befed: 3000 persons
Food item: Rice
Others: tinned tomatoes, seasonings

We request you to join in raising a food bank for this purpose

NEEDS:
50 Bags of rice:
30 Cartons of tinned tomatoes:
25 Cartons of Seasonings:maggi, knorr, onga e.t.c.

Whatever you can give out of LOVE would be highly appreciated and don’t think that you cannot give anything, nothing would be too small to be received even a mudu of rice, a tin of tomatoes and a bag of seasoning would be useful.
